Those who plant in tears will harvest SHOUTS OF JOY. They weep as they plant their seed, but they sing as they return with the HARVEST.

What A Great Time to be Homeschooling.

Just a short post to say that I am really excited for today. My children are sitting at home with me as their teacher, as we all watch history being made. Now who could ask for a better scenario. We can pray together for our new president and watch together as we all watch this historical event. I am not ashamed to say that I did not vote for this man, but he is in office now so I will teach my children to respect him as the president. Just wanted to jot this down for my own information today that me and my girls will be watching the first black president get sworn in to the office of President of the United states of America in just a few short hours.
Now it is time for us as Christians to be on our knees praying for this country and this family. Prayer is powerful and God listens to his people when they humbly seek His face and pray. So I encourage us all to seek God's face through this change and PRAY!!!!

You are so right, sister! What an historic day! I wish I had been home watching it happen with my kiddo's. You are also right about prayer. We will be praying for Obama and his family daily.

Love ya!

I felt very honored to share with my children that today is such a historical day for them. They will be telling their children, grand children and great grandchildren that they seen the first black president sworn into office. I was able to share with the kids about Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton and George H. Bush and how old I was. It was an awesome day for the kids and I. How blessed we are.
