Those who plant in tears will harvest SHOUTS OF JOY. They weep as they plant their seed, but they sing as they return with the HARVEST.

Small Town Folk

All right all my friends and family who live int he city we have definitely turned into "small Town folk." I am pretty embarrassed to even be blogging about this but it is pretty funny.
Well last night we had a pretty long night of thunderstorms and received almost 5 inches in our area. So this morning we get up, go to church, come home, and all we talk about is all the flooding. That's not the best of it. Today was our cleaning day so after lunch we all worked really hard to get everything done that needed to get done.
At about 7:00 P.M. we were finally finished. Mommy got all excited and I said "Let's go dive around town and look at all the flooding and then go to the store and get some ice cream." Yuck I just want to throw up now thinking about how hickish I have become. Two years ago I never would have thought my entertainment would be driving around a small town looking at the river whose banks have overflowed.(This Is really sad.)
The funniest thing is that as we are driving around I make the comment " Should we go back and get our camera and take pictures like everyone else is?" My husband just looked at me at that time and said we really have turned into "small town folk."

Don't look at it as being a hick......Look at it as free entertainment. There now. Feel better? =)

At least you have something to drive around and look at! Let's see....nope, Tim and I have no desire to drive around Phoenix and look at ummm....traffic, smog, bad neighborhoods, the homeless, trash on the streets, kids not in school, crazy drivers....you are truly lucky to be a HICK!!!
