Those who plant in tears will harvest SHOUTS OF JOY. They weep as they plant their seed, but they sing as they return with the HARVEST.

A long Week

What a week we have had. Yesterday we drove to South Dakota to bury our son. He is buried in a little cemetery along with many other Jensen's. The first one's to come to the United States are buried there. It is neat how there are many generations all together. We do not know where we will settle so the Lord provided a resting place among other family members. Makes my heart feel good to know He is in Heaven with the lord but he is also in a place where I can go and visit him. Know it sounds weird but I really wanted some form of memorial for him. The days are long and I know they will get easier. Wanted to also say thank you to all of you who have been praying for us. We have felt the hand of God upon us many times through these past days.

Dear Susan,

I too am a mother of 6 girls and one boy. We also lost a boy at 16 weeks. He would be 8 years old now. It was a very hard time in our lives. I will be praying for you and your family. In times of sadness and depression I really needed the Lord and my family. I also needed a low dose of antidepressants for about a year to carry me through the hormone changes after I had 2 more miscarriages after his death. Now I am much better and we had two more children after a series of 4 miscarriages [including our son]...I hope things go much better for you. God bless you all-Virginia

I visit your blog on occasion, but have been touched by your recent tragedy and find myself visiting more often these days. :)

I am carrying our second blessing and am only 7 weeks along. Reading stories like yours have really made me realize that our baby belongs to God and no matter what, God knows the "story" of our child.

Thank you for your faithfulness and dedication to our Saviour and my prayers and thoughts are with you and your precious family.

Susan, I am so very sorry. I know you miss your baby so much. Just remember that you won't be separated from him forever. You will spend eternity with him. Waiting is hard though. Take comfort in the beautiful children that you have at home.

Holding on to my newest bundle extra tight, as you said to Sally.
