Those who plant in tears will harvest SHOUTS OF JOY. They weep as they plant their seed, but they sing as they return with the HARVEST.

Safe in The Arms of Jesus

Friday it will be 6 months since we lost our little Elias. Where has the time gone.
This week has been a great week for both Daddy and I. We picked out the headstone and it will be at the cemetery before Memorial day. I hope we can get up to South Dakota that weekend and see it. I am very excited about this because I feel like there is some closure.

As soon as we get a picture of the memorial I will post a picture.

This is what we had engraved on it.

We also wrote "Safe In The Arms Of Jesus" on Faith's Stone. We had originally picked out something else, but when I read through that song I knew that was what we were going to put on the stone. You can see Faith's stone here:

It really is a comfort to know that our babies are Safe In The Arms Of Jesus!

Many Blessings,
Karen

Your blog caught my eye this morning because of the quotation from Fanny Crosby's hymn, "Safe in the Arms of Jesus." (It was written 142 years ago this very day.)

Just one thought. It is more than those in heaven who are safe in the arms of the Lord. That is true of every child of God, here and now, as well. And I think that is what Fanny Crosby had in mind--that we are protected and comforted in His loving arms now, in anticipation of being with Him in heaven later on.

You can check out the full text of the hymn on the Cyber Hymnal at...
