Tonight we sat down to do our devotions with the kids and my husband started talking to them about how God was omnipresent. He explained to them that if he was in human form this would not be possible. They all understood and thought that was pretty cool how God is everywhere all the time.
As we were trying to move on with the lesson our five year old popped up and said, "Dad I know what you mean God is with me and he just looks fuzzy." We all looked at here with a strange glance. I asked her what she meant.
She said ,"Well you know mom God is also the Holy Spirit and he lives in us but we can't see him so he is fuzzy."
I asked her, "Do you mean that the Holy Spirit lives in you and he is invisible."
She said, "Yep, mom that's what I mean he is invisible not fuzzy."

I tell you , there is a real disciple already and future wife of a preacher in her. She is amazing! Look through the eyes of a child, she has Jesus and knows the Holy Spirit. Thank you our little one. We love you Nana C
I think your right about the preacher's wife. I just told MArc that on Sunday while we were getting ready for church.
Isn't it fun to see our kids growing in their understanding of God? My 3 year old knows Jesus went to heaven, so he asked me the other day when we were going to visit him there. Couldn't we just take a plane?
My kids like to talk about Jesus sitting in the chair next to them in the van or at the table. They know God is everywhere, but they think it's funny when someone sits in that seat: "You're sitting on Jesus!"
Ok, I could go on :) but I won't *grin*
That is so sweet!!! Kids are the BEST!!
This is so funny!!
How precious! It's amazing what kids say.
Thanks so much for your comment on my blog yesterday. I am hoping that my daughter and I can make it to 2 years of breastfeeding. I'm so thankful that I can stay home with her - she is a joy!
Have a blessed day!
Your girls are so precious. I am so glad to be able to watch them grow in their faith. Love ya.
Oh Susan, that is such a precious (and funny) comment. It totally reminds me of something my Reece would say. Kudos to you and your dh for so tenderly shepherding their hearts.
Blessings,
